Family Workshop: "Fighting for the Right to Fight" Hands-on Workshop and Exhibit Exploration
Education Classroom and Special Exhibition Galleries, Louisiana Memorial Pavilion

In this family workshop, participants will learn about the African American military units that helped achieve Allied victory in World War II. Included are hands-on activities relating to the 761st Tank Battalion, Tuskegee Airmen, and Red Ball Express supply convoy followed by a guided tour through the special exhibition.

Workshops are designed for children ages 8-12.  Advanced ticket purchase is required. One adult per three children must attend.

Cost: $10 per child, free for Museum members. Regular Museum admission applies for families who wish to spend the day at the Museum. Discount for attendees available onsite.
