Walt Burgoyne presents "Tall Mountains, Shorter Soldiers, Bigger Hearts"

For decades, young men of Nepal have competed to join the ranks of the Gurkhas, among the most feared soldiers on the planet. During World War II, Gurkhas served in all theaters, winning renown in Burma, Italy, Malaya, and Tunisia, including the battles of Meiktila and Monte Cassino.

Come explore the WWII exploits of these determined warriors with Assistant Director of Education for Interpretation Walt Burgoyne, and share the food culture of their homeland—the Himalayan Mountains of Nepal.
