Weekend War Games--Louisiana Maneuvers
US Freedom Pavilion: The Boeing Center

Modern-era military forces use war games (or simulations) to model potential engagements, determine possible enemy responses, and devise countermeasures to those responses. Once goals are set, insightful consideration of expected and unexpected factors—and a commander’s resulting choices—determine success. Join modern war gamers in a simulation of the Louisiana Maneuvers and strategize to see if you would make the same decisions that were made from August to September 1941 as the United States prepared for conflict in war games that covered more than 3,400 square miles of Louisiana and Texas.
