Film Screening: The Wereth Eleven

The Wereth Eleven, directed by Robert Childs, is a docudrama about 11 African American Soldiers of the 333rd Field Artillery Battalion who came under attack at the beginning of the Battle of the Bulge.  These 11 managed to escape after their position was overrun, finding refuge with a Belgian family.  They were soon discovered, tortured and executed.  The film tells the story using archival footage, reenactments and interviews with veterans who were with the 333rd in the Battle of the Bulge.
