Innovation Studio: Spooky Science

Join us for our first Virtual Innovation Studio! This October, learn how to make a permanent reusable glow stick, mix your own fake blood and build a cardboard robotic arm! Learn about how glowing sea creatures were used during the war by the Japanese military, how one brilliant physical therapist used her engineering skills to help WWII veterans without limbs eat and write, and how one surgeon made improvements to blood storage that saved thousands of lives.

ADULT SUPERVISION REQUIRED. These activities involve the use of tools and materials that require adult supervision and proper safety precautions. Science and engineering are fun and interesting subjects that help us build our confidence through learning how to do hard things and be safe at the same time.
