Garden to Glass: Magic on the Rocks
US Freedom Pavilion: The Boeing Center

Join The National WWII Museum, Eat Local Challenge (a program of the New Orleans Food Policy Action Council), The Higgins Hotel & Conference Center, and The American Sector Restaurant & Bar as we celebrate Victory Gardens during the season of eating locally!

Sample garden-fresh libations, learn how to make them at home, and vote for your favorites! Using fresh local ingredients, area distillers and bars will compete to create the best cocktails inspired by WWII Victory Gardens and this year’s theme, “Magic on the Rocks,” a nod to the Museum’s special exhibit The Walt Disney Studios in World War II. The exhibit will be open in the Senator John Alario, Jr. Special Exhibition Hall during the event.

The American Sector Restaurant & Bar will be serving heavy hors d'oeuvres made with local ingredients that will wow and inspire. The Museum’s Education team will also be on hand to share more about Victory Gardens in World War II and help you kickstart your own winter garden.

General admission is $30. Admission for Eat Local Challengers, Master Gardeners, and Museum Members is $25. Designated Driver tickets are $15.

Tickets must be purchased in advance and will sell out fast! General admission includes unlimited cocktail samples and hors d'oeuvres. Designated Driver tickets do not include cocktail samples, but include hors d’oeuvres and free parking in the Museum’s garage.
