The National WWII Museum invites all educators to our FREE Fall Educator Appreciation Night on Sunday, October 15!

The Museum will extend its hours just for local educators from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Explore some of the Museum’s galleries free of charge, enjoy refreshments on us, and enter to win door prizes! Learn about the amazing programs and resources that both we and many local museums and organizations offer teachers and students.

Event attendees enter the Hall of Democracy entrance at 1043 Magazine Street. Free parking is available across the street in our garage at 1024 Magazine Street.

This event is also the Welcome Reception for the 2023 Louisiana Council for the Social Studies Conference (LCSS) which will be held at the Museum on October 16–17. The theme of this year’s conference is “Innovative Practices in Social Studies” and will be packed with great sessions and networking opportunities.
